Complete product, on your server
DChat is self-hosted live chat software for teams that want modern support tooling without recurring hosted-seat pricing. Live chat is free with unlimited agents: deploy it on infrastructure you control, and keep the data, branding, routing, and AI decisions inside your own stack. Premium adds the AI assistant, custom roles, automation and extra channels at $19 per agent per month; Enterprise adds single sign-on and advanced SLA policies. Compare tiers.
Control the deployment
Run on Windows or Linux, in containers, or behind the web stack you already trust.
Bring your own AI
Use OpenAI, Claude, Ollama, or no AI at all. DChat does not force a provider or markup.
Support teams move faster
Operators get live chat, routing, transcripts, analytics, and visitor context in one self-hosted system.
Everything included
No separate analytics product and no seat limit. The capabilities below ship together and run on your own server; the AI features are part of Premium, and everything else listed here is free.
New in 2.0.5 and 2.0.6
Version 2.0.5 turned the live chat server into a shared inbox, and 2.0.6 adds AI Copilot, a stronger widget, merge, saved views and a command palette. Most of it is free. Each card names its tier: Free means Community, and Premium ($19) and Enterprise ($49) are priced per agent per month. These pages describe the ASP.NET Core edition; the Web Forms package does not have them.
Statuses, priority, an assignee, snooze, labels, private notes with @mentions, bulk actions, and a warning when a colleague is already replying.
A contact record for every customer, with custom attributes, notes, saved segments, merging and CSV import and export.
Email beside web chat for free. WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, LINE, SMS and API inboxes are Premium.
Rules, macros, auto-assignment and per-agent limits on Premium; advanced SLA policies on Enterprise. The first-response SLA target stays free.
A public help portal on your own server, with categories, search, languages and article search inside the widget.
Conversation, label, department, inbox and agent reports for any date range, with CSV export.
On Enterprise, agents sign in through your identity provider over OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0.
On Premium, calls to your own Twilio number arrive as conversations, with browser ringing, voicemail and click-to-call.
A REST API with access tokens and built-in docs, signed webhooks, a widget JavaScript SDK and verified visitor identity.
Slack, Teams and Discord notifications are free. Two-way Slack threads, where agents reply from Slack, are Premium.
Install the web dashboard on a phone or desktop and get push notifications. There are no native iOS or Android apps.
On Premium: an AI agent that answers from your own knowledge, takes actions with approval, triages the inbox and hands off with context, plus a copilot that rewrites, translates and summarises for agents. Bot flows are free.
New in 2.0.6 and free: allowed domains, a dark mode setting, a pop-out window, replies by email, help articles in the widget, media and location, and buttons, forms and cards. Agent bots are Premium.

Run it on infrastructure you trust, on the model you choose.
Deployment
Install on Windows or Linux, behind IIS or Nginx, in a VM, or in Docker if that fits your stack.
Commercial model
Live chat is free with unlimited agents. Premium, with the AI agent, is billed per agent per month, never per conversation.
AI Flexibility
Run the AI agent on a local Ollama model, or connect OpenAI and Anthropic with your own provider accounts.
