What shipped, dated and in plain words

Product changes as they reach production — no roadmap promises, no 'coming soon'. If it's listed here, it's live. For what Dchat deliberately does not claim yet, see the capability map.

August 2026 — pricing tools and honest comparisons

A free support-cost calculator that compares flat per-seat, per-resolution, and credit-metered pricing on your own volume. Industry pages for SaaS, ecommerce, and agencies. Eight new guides including alternatives reviews for Drift, Tawk.to, Help Scout, Gorgias, LiveChat, and HubSpot chat — each one says when the competitor is the right choice.

August 2026 — security hardening

All inbound channel webhooks (SMS, WhatsApp, Slack, email) now fail closed: a configured channel with no signing secret rejects unsigned requests instead of accepting them. Widget CORS also fails closed in production. Verified by dedicated regression tests.

August 2026 — installable dashboard with push alerts

The agent dashboard installs as an app (PWA) and sends Web Push notifications when a visitor requests a human — so handoffs reach your team even with the tab closed.

  • Push on handoff
  • Works tab-closed

July 2026 — answer quality tooling

AI Answer Sandbox to test replies against your knowledge before visitors see them, a golden-questions regression runner with webhook alerts when a previously passing answer starts failing, structured CSAT (score plus comment), and copilot reply drafts that show which knowledge article grounded them.
